the water tower is made of stone...and sealed inside to hold the water. Several of the buildings had plumbing

The main part of town had the largest buildings.  Many buildings had several levels, wood and tile floors, and marked walking paths.  Although both sections have mines, the "main" part of town with the larger buildings is located west of the mining area where the remains of the mill can be seen.

although it looks like a schoolhouse, closer exmaniation reveals cement foundations for equipment and engines.   A mine entrance is within 30 feet.

20 to 30 feet down this vertical shaft is flooded.   Gary dropped several large stones to show the water while Derek photographed the splash for our next video
